Baptisms
At Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, baptisms take place during worship services on the third weekend of the month. Our worship times are Saturday at 5:30 p.m.; Sundays at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00 a.m. (During the months of June, July and August, the 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 9:45 a.m. Sunday services are held outdoors, weather permitting on our campus.)

Baptism Preparation Classes
Preparation for Baptism classes consist of two sessions taking place on the first and second Wednesday of each month at from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Christian Life Center Chapel.

Session One: In our first class together we’ll provide a clear, concise, memorable, and, dare we say, fun walk through a theological understanding of baptism from a Lutheran perspective focusing on the promises that are made in baptism.

Session Two: At the second class we’ll provide a “play-by-play” orientation to the way we do baptisms at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. You will be fully equipped to celebrate yours or your child’s baptism. Together we’ll explore the “When?”, “Where?”, “Who?”, “What?” of baptism, and, if there’s a “Why?” lurking in there, we’ll handle that too. If you're in the least bit apprehensive about “standing up in front of a group of people” we’ll take care of that as well.
