Mission: The Prince of Peace Single Adult Ministry provides single adults (never married, divorced, widowed) opportunities for personal and spiritual growth as well as social activities in a safe, Christian atmosphere.
Purpose: The Single Adult Ministry will provide opportunities for area single adults to make new friends, socialize and participate in morally healthy activities in a safe Christian environment. The Ministry will provide a means for single adults to interact together and with the Prince of Peace community, while also encouraging single adults, who do not have a church home to feel comfortable at Prince of Peace.
Programs / Activities: The Prince of Peace Single Adult Ministry activities will include Bible studies, personal growth studies, single parent support, a divorce recovery program, social activities, community service/volunteer opportunities, and possibly mission opportunities, seminars and retreats.
DivorceCare: There aren't many people around you who understand the pain your separation or divorce has caused. To you. Your family. Your friends. You are not alone!
That's the reason for our special DivorceCare support group led by people who understand what you are experiencing. Most importantly, you'll learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.

Single Adult Bible / Growth Studies: Bible studies and personal growth groups for single adults using materials found in Christian bookstores and from Christian counselors such as Drs. Cloud and Townsend.
Single Parents: Single Parents have special needs and challenges that are not shared with two-parent households. In order to assist single parents cope with what can be very trying and stressful days, the Single Adult Ministry will provide parenting information and support group discussions. Topics could include materials prepared by Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend.
Volunteer Activities: Volunteer activities could include helping at "the Outpost" and ushering at church, packaging food at "Feed My Starving Children", helping provide meals at homeless shelters and conducting food drives for food-shelves, among others.
