Baptisms
Baptisms take place the third weekend of the month at our Saturday 5:30 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. services, and a special 12:30 p.m. baptismal service.  You do not have to be a member to be baptized/or have your child baptized at Prince of Peace.  There is no charge for the baptism service, we are happy to share in this very special event in your life/ your child’s life.  Baptism is a community-oriented event and we are your faith community.

Expectations:  There is a one-hour Baptism Class held in the Chapel of the Christian Life Center that all parents of children (or adults being baptized) are required to attend.  You will be sent an invitation to this class approximately two weeks before the class.  We urge you to make use of the Childcare Center so that you can focus on this special Baptism Class.  The baptism coordinator needs all information, including sponsors names, in order to complete Baptismal Certificates.  Many parents choose 2 sponsors, but others have more, or less.
