Women's Ministry Openings

Women’s Ministry is in need of the following leadership positions for a two-year commitment:

Assistant Leader (proceed to Leader in 2011-2012),
Treasurer (Quicken knowledge is helpful),
Program (manage four events per year),
Social (manage hospitality for four events),
Retreat.

Women's Retreat Information

Are you looking for a time to connect with your sisters in Christ? Then this retreat is for you. Join us at Camp Wapo for the Women's Retreat this year!

Our theme is Sisterhood - Celebrating our sisterhood in Christ.

Our speaker is Mary Pierce - Humorist, author of:

When did my life become a game of Twister?

The retreat will be Sept 17-19.

Friday check in begins at 3pm and a lite dinner of soup & salad will be available anytime between 5pm-7pm with programming starting at 7.

We will once again be in the crossfire building at camp Wapo and the Saturday Night entertainment will be the Grace Notes!!!

South Cluster Synod Gathering at POP

This years south cluster synod gathering will be held at Prince of Peace on Monday October 4th from 6:15 - 8:15pm. The speaker will be Mary Treacy O'Keefe. To help keep the costs down each circle is being asked to bring a pan of bars to the community room kitchen on Sunday October 3rd. If you can provide a pan of bars please contact Sue Chan at 952-322-2650 by Monday September 20th so she can plan how many bars need to be purchased.

Engage - A Bible Study for All

The Women's Bible Study with Pastor Jeff has been modified to include anyone who can come on Wednesday's at noon. The Bible Study is called Engage and it will be offered on Monday nights at 6:30pm and Wednesday at noon for anyone who would like to attend. It will be an in depth study of the book of Exodus starting on Monday September 20th and Wednesday September 22nd.
