Middle School Ministry

MSM is the Middle School Ministry of Prince of Peace. Wednesday nights we meet at 6:30 p.m. for games and friendship strengthening in the community room. At 7:00 p.m. we meet for large group worship in the sanctuary, which includes our Middle School Praise Team, skits, large group games, a short Bible message, and announcements. Then we break out for discussion and community time in small groups. We seek to serve Christ many times through out the year by community & world impacting service projects (such as Feed My Starving Children, Bridge Builders – Across the Generations, Compassion International and Mission Outpost) & mission trips! We love to dance, sing, clap and worship at full volume! We love seeing what God is doing - always something new! And we love to tell others about it!

MSM Praise Team 09-10

Students entering 6-8th grades in the 2009-2010 school year are invited to join the Media Arts and Praise Team. We meet on Tuesday nights for Bible Study and rehearsal (both teams are one!). There is an overnight @ Wapo in July that is part of the team formation this year. We’re looking for new media arts techs and musicians and vocalists who are passionate about leading others in worship at weekly Middle School large group meetings!

We’re also planning a few local “tours” to share our music with the community. We’re also praying for one or two adults to assist the team director this year with spiritual formation and music mentoring. We’d love to have you join us.
