CLC Atrium/Family Room
Beginning the first Monday of Lent, February 27, we will be starting our weekly Lenten Community Meal. This meal will be served each Monday, through Easter, continuing on through May. All are welcome to join in the meal and we are looking for volunteers to help prepare and serve the meals.

Each Easter we provide an Easter Meal Basket for Mission Outpost families, families identified through our county contacts, and families in our own Prince of Peace community who may be experiencing financial difficulties.
Please fill a bag or basket with the following items and help us spread the love of Christ to others: Ham, box of instant potatoes, canned vegetables, canned pineapple, ready-to-eat desserts, bag of jelly beans, and Easter grass.

Minot, ND - May/ June 2012 - Help rebuild some of the more than 4,000 homes that were destroyed in the 2011 flood.

Every Thursday afternoon a Salvation Army truck arrives with fresh vegetables and fruits to bless our community! Tables are set up outside and families pass through to take what they need! This would be a great family serve opportunity or for teens looking to fulfill community service hours! All nonperishable, nonexpired food is appreciated enormously. Our greatest need for food donations are the following items:
- Spaghetti Noodles & Sauce
- Pancake Mix & Syrup
- Peanut butter & jelly
- Canned fruit
- Cooking Oil
- 4lb. /bags of Sugar
- Juice
- Cereal

Mission Outpost is in need of gently used children’s and Teen aged Bibles to pass out to the families who come to us for help. The families are extremely grateful when we are able to present them with a bible. If your child and/or teen has outgrown their Bible and you are willing to pass it on, please label them Mission Outpost and place them in any of the donations bins. |
