Focus: Welcomes all experiencing grief related to the loss of a loved one. Offers weekly guest speakers on an aspect of the grief process followed by safe, confidential, Christ-centered small group emotional support. Small groups available for those in loss of parent, sibling, spouse, child and friend.

Where: Christian Life Center Rm 110
Focus: Trained facilitators lead weekly discussion and support group meetings, providing information and safe, confidential, Christ-centered support to those affected by depression, whether self or a loved one.

Support Group for Family members or ‘significant others' supporting people suffering from Depression

When: Tuesday night at 6:30
Where: Prince of Peace Christian Life Center Room 110
Focus: Trained facilitators will provide support for members attending. Members can be anyone who is living with or in a relationship with someone who is suffering from depression, anxiety or related mental health issues. The group’s mission is to provide a safe place for sharing information and lending faith based support. Point of contact for group questions is Randy Goeke – 952-240-2754

The Depression Support Coalition has developed a program of monthly informational talks by leading healthcare professionals and clergy educated and experienced about depression and related diseases.

Focus: Welcomes all people struggling with an addiction or self-defeating behavior that detracts from their quality of life or the quality of life of those they love. This group shares their experience, strength and hope with each other.

Growing Through Loss Coalition
The Interdenominational Coalition of South Suburban Churches (of which Prince of Peace is a member) presents this series for adults who have experienced a loss or major crisis in their life. The series is also of interest to those who simply wish to learn more about the grief process. Each session offers an educational presentation with trained facilitators for help and support.

Alcoholics Anonymous Support Group
AA is an informal meeting society for recovering alcoholics. Its members state their primary purpose as, "to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety."
