The Lenten season is a time for self-examination, repentance, and confession. It is also a time to take stock of our relationships: our relationship with God and with others. As we walk together toward the cross, we discover ways to restore our relationships through justice, faithfulness, trust, limits, love and forgiveness. All adults are welcome!

The events of Holy Week look different through the lens of the cross and the empty tomb. Why would Jesus journey to Jerusalem, knowing full well what awaits him there? Why would the Son of God wash dirty feet? Why would the King of kings choose a cross for a throne? The answer lies in the cross and empty tomb and what God accomplishes through them. When we look at the events of our own life through the lens of the cross and the empty tomb everything looks different. All adults are welcome!

Where are we going, and how will we get there? Those are the core questions we’ll address in this series. We’ll seek to articulate answers to both questions in ways that invite disciples to align their lives with God’s direction for us and take their next step on the journey. We’ll discover a path that presses out what it means to love the Lord with all our heart, mind, soul and strength, and love our neighbor as ourselves. It’s a path that we’ll travel by inviting the Spirit to grow us up, and through our witness in word and deed, grow the Kingdom.
- Thursdays; April 12 – May 24 Augustana Regent, 10:30 a.m.
- Thursdays; April 12, 26; May 10, 24 Realife Co-op, 2:00 p.m.

Enrichment learning is an important factor in promoting good health for everyone. It provides mental stimulation and a curiosity about the world in which we live. SALT's emphasis is "salting minds," that is, providing opportunities to enrich and season our seniors as participants in our churches and communities. The series includes religion and humanities classes taught by professors and other professionals from the metro area. A lunch is optional.
Date: Mondays, April 23, 30; May 1, 8; 9:30 - 11:45 a.m.
Location: Church of the Risen Savior, 1501 E. Cty Rd 42. Questions? Anita Elliot -
